QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure in School Counseling
- Master's degree
- Successful teaching and/or counseling experience with at least 3 years experience preferred
- Demonstrates the professional and personal characteristics for working effectively with students, parents, school personnel and community agencies
- Candidates working on school counseling internship/licensure may be considered.
General Description -
- Advising and counseling students regarding academic, educational, and short-term social and emotional problems.
- Conducting assessments to evaluate students' abilities.
- Assisting students with career planning.
- Providing individual student planning and responsive services to support students and their families regarding academic matters.
- Customizing counseling services to meet individual student and school needs.
- Facilitating conflict resolution.
This is a 11-month 220 day position.
Salary range: $58,500.00 - $108,655.00/Per Year with Master's Degree
